SOTO Fusion Retreat '17

What a way to start 2017... Our Youth Retreat at SOTO (Shepherd of the Ozarks) was a blast! We crammed ourselves into the gorgeous Eagles Watch lodge, though we had plenty of room.  As I heard someone say, "it makes me feel like we're a family."
Although there was another group on campus there at SOTO, we only interacted with them during meal times and occasionally during free time on the basketball court.
Our worship time was led by the Pursuit of Light band from Conway (affiliated with the UCA BCM) and Ryan Scantling (UCA BCM Director) brought us the Word during each session.

Activity time on Saturday afternoon was also fun & memorable.  The majority of our group completed the High Ropes Course which consisted of several "elements" that challenged our fear of height and self-confidence.  At the end of the series of elements, we were able to descend a zip line!

It was an exhausting, yet fun and beneficial weekend that we want to see happen again soon!  If you'd like to see more pictures from the weekend, go to THIS ALBUM
